FAQ 1: What is your MOQ for a smaller order?
- We are open with small quantity and will spare no efforts to cater lingerie startups owners’ needs with low MOQ to help their lingerie collections launch.
- Our MOQ is flexible, previously we made bra for start-ups in 300 pcs with 15 sizes with, 1000pcs with 30 sizes, and even 100pcs for underwear/panty. It depends on fabric greige situation, quantity of collections, size range etc.

FAQ 2: What is the average lead time for sourcing, sampling, and production?
- Lead time for Sourcing: 5-7 working days for lingerie fabric and accessories sourcing.
- Lead time for sampling: 1-2 week, it depends on the style quantity and complexity.
- Lead time for bulk production: 4-6 weeks after PPS approved.

FAQ 3: What file types for lingerie patterns do you require?
- DXF file format would be best if you can offer lingerie patterns, because it is regular file types for garment patterns. Tech Packs can be in PDF or Excel format when no patterns available.
FAQ 4: What if I do not have patterns and no Tech Packs, how could I proceed my lingerie development?
- You may send lingerie sketch or inspiration images to us. Our team will gather all info and generate it into your exclusive Tech Pack for your approval. So that the lingerie sampling can be proceeding accordingly.
FAQ 5: Are you a Trading or a Factory?
- Dalian Intimates is a trading company. Our cooperated factory is only responsible for manufacturing. We are in charge of all parts which excluding producing, from sourcing & purchasing materials, pattern making and grading, bulk inspection, Customs Clearance to shipping. In such case, we are confident that our quality is premium and price can be affordable by our customers and more competitive than factory’s.
FAQ 6: Is your lingerie ethically made and sustainable trade?
- We have been cooperating with BSCI certificated factory and regular visiting help to make sure we continue to work with an ethical and safe factory. All of our fabric and lace suppliers are certificated with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, this make sure each of our lingerie pieces are eco-friendly. Despite lingerie industry we admit is far from perfect, we are constantly looking for more ways to improve on our sustainable and ethical standards.
FAQ 7: Where is your manufacturing based?
- Our manufacturing is all based in Dalian, China.That means we can offer you quick turnarounds on your orders with fast shipping.We are continuously improving our processes to better support the amazing work they do.
FAQ 8: What are your capacities?
- We could integrate fabric and manufacturing factory resource and offer the final solution to our clients. For big order, our BSCI certificated factory will manufacture it. For small or premium orders, our sampling center have the ability to handle it. In this case, we could meet clients’ delivery time.
FAQ 9: Our patented hardware would be provided from our nominated supplier in Europe. Are you working with 3rd party suppliers?
- We are open to working with 3rd party suppliers as per clients’ requirements, especially for patented accessories.
- It would be workable that sourcing same or similar hardware which is without patent from our own regular vendors to save time and cost.
FAQ 10: What else service can you offer to me?
- Our team will manage the process for you from beginning to end. Such as, sending you an estimated pricing for your goods, advising you the packing method, recommending packaging for your goods when transportation, telling you the estimated shipping cost to your warehouse, introducing reliable shipping company to do Customs Clearance in your local part, even advising you the “Suggesting retail price” etc. Any service we can do will be offered.
